April

Although work in the garden never truly stops throughout the year, the arrival of sunny and warmer days awakens nature and brings new life to every corner of the garden. April is a month of renewal — a time when the soil begins to warm, the air feels lighter, and the garden slowly comes alive again.

This is why April is the perfect month to sow new seeds into soil that has already been carefully prepared and nurtured. With the ground warmed and well aerated, seeds are ready to settle into their new home and begin their journey toward growth.

Potatoes, legumes, corn, spinach, onions, garlic, chard, many varieties of lettuce, cabbage crops, and numerous other plants eagerly await their place in the soil. Each seed carries the promise of future harvests, fresh flavors, and the quiet satisfaction that comes from growing food with care and patience.

April is not just about planting — it is about hope, renewal, and the joy of watching life begin again.
